In the era of globalization and digital transformation, sustainable economic development has become a top priority across various sectors, particularly in tourism. As a major contributor to economic growth, the tourism sector plays a crucial role in driving innovation and fostering cross-sector collaboration. However, building a resilient and sustainable business ecosystem requires strong synergy between tourism stakeholders, economic actors, and technological advancement.

The theme "Tourism, Economy, and Technology: Building a Sustainable Business Ecosystem" reflects the urgent need to transform business models that are not only profit-oriented but also environmentally and socially sustainable. Technology serves as a key enabler in enhancing the tourism sector through service digitalization, data management, and the development of platforms that efficiently connect businesses with consumers.

This seminar serves as an academic forum for knowledge development and scholarly exchange among researchers, lecturers, students, practitioners, and experts in related fields. It is expected to foster dialogue and collaboration that generate strategic ideas and innovations for building an inclusive and sustainable business ecosystem.

The 10th TEAMS is an annual event organized by the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Indonesia, in collaboration with various higher education institutions in Indonesia and abroad. The event aims to strengthen global academic networks, promote interdisciplinary knowledge sharing, and contribute to addressing strategic issues in tourism, economy, and technology.

Uniquely, this year’s TEAMS seminar is integrated with a community service program, which will take place in Hong Kong from May 27 to 29, 2025. This program involves the Indonesian Migrant Workers Community in Hong Kong and is held in collaboration with the Association of Universitas Terbuka Students in Hong Kong. Through this initiative, TEAMS seeks to bridge academic knowledge with real-world needs by supporting economic empowerment and digital literacy for Indonesian migrant workers.

With these series of activities, The 10th TEAMS aspires to be an inspiring platform that not only generates scientific contributions but also creates a tangible social impact in building a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable business ecosystem in the digital age.
