Regenerative economics is born from an awareness of the damage caused by the traditional linear economic model, which operates on the principle of "take, make, discard." This model results in the exploitation of natural resources, pollution, and waste accumulation. In addition, these economic models often ignore social aspects, creating inequality and injustice in various communities. Regenerative economics offers innovative and sustainable approaches to addressing pressing environmental and social challenges. By implementing regenerative principles in accounting, management, business, and education, we can create an economic system that is not only sustainable but also capable of restoring and improving the world around us. This approach requires commitment from all parties, but the long-term benefits will far outweigh the initial investment required.

         The 9th TEAMS (International Conference on Tourism, Economics, Accounting, Management and Social Science) is an annual conference that carries actual themes in the fields of tourism, economics, accounting, management and social sciences. The 9th TEAMS was organized by the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha in collaboration with Wako University Japan. This conference will be held on October 1-2, 2024 by Hybrid model on zoom and live on YouTube. The conference aims to provide a medium for participants to disseminate their ideas and research results and develop their networks. Through the contributions of the participants, it is hoped that this conference can provide a deeper understanding of current issues of tourism, economics, accounting, management and social sciences. TEAMS 2024 also facilitates participants to take part in international community service activities.
