The Economics and Accounting Department Student Association (HMJ) successfully held the 2021 Student Conference on Thursday, January 21 2021 with the theme “New habits, new leaders for ACTIVE Economics and Accounting HMJ (Actual, Creative, Transparent, Innovative andFriendly)”. Activities carried out bydaring by using the PlatformZoom Meeting This event took place for two days from 21 to 22 January 2021 and was attended directly by the Head of the Economics and Accounting Department as well as the entire academic community within the Economics and Accounting Department.
The Student Deliberation, hereinafter referred to as MUSMA, is a routine activity every year of HMJ Economics and Accounting, Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University. This activity aims to submit an Accountability Report for activities that have been carried out previously as well as electing the Chair of HMJ Economics and Accounting for the 2021/2022 term of office. By holding this MUSMA event, it is hoped that a solid and complete organizational foundation and guidelines will be realized, a democratic climate will be created at the student level, a communicative relationship will be established with the entire HMJ Economics and Accounting community and the regeneration of democratic and progressive leadership will be achieved.
This MUSMA began with remarks from the head of the Economics and Accounting Department, who gave directions to all students to be more enthusiastic about building the nation through student organizations in the Economics and Accounting Department. When the Student Deliberation begins, participants first elect a Presidium to be the leader of the Student Deliberation and who will guide the proceedings of the Student Deliberation with their abilities and consideration. Next, an accountability report is carried out starting from the Secretary, Treasurer, and continued by each sector.
Then on the second day, the election was held for the Chair of HMJ Economics and Accounting for the 2021-2022 term. The election was attended by 2 candidates who had met the criteria and tests that had to be passed before becoming elected chairman. From this election, I Nengah Putra Jaya Suryanata was elected as chairman of HMJ Economics and Accounting for the 2021/2022 period, so along with this the management of HMJ Economics and Accounting for the 2020/2021 period was officially disbanded.
