As a continuation stage of the 2021 tax volunteer recruitment program, from Tuesday 9 February 2021 to Thursday 11 February 2021, tax training activities were carried out for 45 tax volunteers who had previously passed the administration and interview stages. This training, which was carried out virtually using the Zoom platform, aims to increase the volunteers’ insight into organizational behavior as well as taxation, especially in terms of annual tax reporting. This training is divided into 4 sessions every day and is delivered directly by lecturers at the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) who have qualifications and competence in the fields of taxation and financial accounting. Apart from lecturers as speakers, the material was also provided by staff from the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate of Taxes (DJP) as well as retired 2020 tax volunteers.
The material given to prospective tax volunteer students on the first day is general in the form of basic leadership, tax awareness, communication, and tax volunteer ethics. Then on the second day, prospective volunteers were given core material in the form of income tax (PPH OP), and tax notification letters (SPT) 1770, 1770 S, and 1770 SS. On the last day, this was followed by the provision of material from DJP staff regarding the 1771 tax notification letter (SPT). At the end of the training, the activity continued with a release event for the 2021 tax volunteers by the Head of the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University, and the Regional Office of the Bali Tax General Directorate.
Present at the release ceremony were Mrs. Dr. Dra. Ni Made Suci, M.Si as Deputy Dean I of the Undiksha Faculty of Economics, and Mr. I Ketut Yasa, S.E., M.M. As head of the guidance and counseling and document processing section of the Bali DJP Regional Office. In his speech, Deputy Dean I of the Undiksha Faculty of Economics expressed his gratitude to the DJP Bali Regional Office for once again giving the opportunity and trust to the Undiksha Faculty of Economics to send selected students as tax volunteers in 2021. He hopes that this collaboration will continue in the future. Overall, the 2021 tax volunteer release event ran smoothly and successfully. (team)
