The Hospitality Management Study Programme (Association Programme), Faculty of Economics, Ganesha University of Education has again demonstrated its commitment to improving the quality and quality of its students to become reliable, adaptive and creative human resources in the tourism sector, especially hospitality. This commitment is evidenced by holding guest lecture on advanced housekeeping courses, with speakers from reliable and experienced practitioners for 3 weeks at the beginning of the lecture. This guest lecture with the topic of housekeeping management presented a guest lecturer, namely Mr. Nyoman Sugiarta as chairman of BPP IHKA (Indonesian HouseKeeper Association).
In his role as a guest lecturer, Mr. Nyoman Sugiarta gave several excellent materials to the 3rd semester students of the Hospitality Management Study Programme covering material on housekeeping management, budgeting, leadership in housekeeping and creating memorable customer experiences. This material is given in 6 meetings for 3 weeks, and aims to provide additional insight to students about the real conditions of hospitality, especially in the field of housekeeping management.
The Guest Lecture which took place online received high enthusiasm from the students. This is evidenced by the number of students who ask guest lecturers questions about real conditions in the field regarding the role and function of housekeeping in the world of tourism, especially hospitality. Overall, the guest lectures held in 6 meetings were carried out successfully and smoothly and provided a very memorable experience for the students of the Hospitality Management Study Programme (Association Programme).
