On that occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics emphasized the differences between the former and current conditions regarding coffee from an economic perspective, which was divided into 3 things, namely: coffee has been a favorite of the people for a long time, who is the market share for coffee products, and how is coffee marketed. past and present. He said that the consistency of coffee farmers in the past in producing coffee was due to the use of this coffee product as a medium of exchange with other products (barter), or it could be likened to the equivalent of gold coins, this shows that coffee products have been a favorite of the people since ancient times. In the past, coffee products were synonymous with parents, including coffee offerings were not as diverse as today, but now the market share of coffee products is expanding to target the younger generation. This shows that the potential for coffee products business is currently getting better because the demand for coffee products is expanding. The development of the market share of coffee products can be seen through the emergence of new coffee shops managed by the younger generation even with not too large a capital.
