In facing the current era of digitalization 4.0, entrepreneurs are challenged to apply various technological developments in running their business so as not to be left behind from competitors who play in the same market. In response to these conditions, the Entrepreneurship Laboratory of the Faculty of Economics, Undiksha held an Entrepreneurship Webinar for young entrepreneurs with the topic “Introduction to Fintech Peer to Peer Lending, SI APIK Bank Indonesia and Imooji as Digital Business Support” on Wednesday February 21, 2021. This virtual webinar was held presenting three speakers from practitioners and academics, namely, Kadek Darma Susila (CEO of Fintech Pundiku), I Gusti Ayu Purnamawati, S.E., Ak., M.Si (Undiksha Academy) and Komang Endrawan Sumadi Putra, S.E., M.M. (Undiksha Academy)
At the opening session of the webinar, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha University of Education, Dr. Gede Adi Yuniarta, S.E., Ak., M.Sc. had the opportunity to give a speech about the views of entrepreneurship for the younger generation. He stated that currently entrepreneurship is still the number 2 goal for every young generation, especially students. The number 1 dream of most students after completing their studies is to get a job. Based on the results of research in Singapore, it is known that progress and high levels of economic growth are due to the fact that most Singaporeans are entrepreneurs. Therefore, he hopes that the FE Undiksha Entrepreneurship Laboratory can always inspire students of the Faculty of Economics to become entrepreneurs in the future. His wishes regarding the direction of the FE Undiksha Entrepreneurship Laboratory in the future are: starting with growing entrepreneurial interest in students, making students want to become entrepreneurs, accommodating students who have become entrepreneurs and finally being able to inspire other students who are not yet interested in the world of entrepreneurship based on various success stories of practitioners who are directly involved in the world of entrepreneurship. Every student who later wants to be an entrepreneur must always pay attention to 3 principles in doing it, namely the product created is needed by the market (marketable), the business that is run is always aimed at profit (profitable) and the business must always be able to develop in the future (sustainable). At the end of his speech, he emphasized that “entrepreneurship is a scientific complexity at the highest applicable level, products that sell well in the market are the characteristics, and making profits is a must”
After the opening session by the Dean, the webinar continued to the main event regarding the presentation of material by each resource where Kadek Darma Susila discussed Fintech Peer to Peer Lending, then I Gusti Ayu Purnamawati, S.E., Ak., M.Si discussed financial bookkeeping The digital SI APIK Bank Indonesia and the latest material on the Imooji electronic Brochure were presented by Komang Endrawan Sumadi Putra, S.E., M.M.
