As one of the youngest faculties within the Ganesha University of Education, the Faculty of Economics always strives to improve its quality as a faculty with excellent performance. Quality improvement is carried out every year by the Faculty of Economics, especially regarding the 8 Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of Higher Education. Throughout 2022, the Faculty of Economics has succeeded in improving its performance optimally. This is proven by the increase in the IKU ranking of the Faculty of Economics to rank 4 within the Ganesha University of Education. The Faculty of Economics has succeeded in becoming a leader in four indicators, including graduates getting decent work (IKU 1), lecturers’ work being recognized and utilized by the community (IKU 5), collaborative and participatory classes (IKU 7) and international standard study programs (IKU 8).
Until the beginning of 2023, almost 88% of graduates from the Faculty of Economics at Ganesha Education University will be absorbed into the world of work with a waiting period of less than three months, while the remaining 12% will become entrepreneurs and continue their studies at a higher level. The lecturers in the Faculty of Economics always carry out activities and disseminate the results of their research and service to the community, thus helping government programs to increase economic and social growth both regionally and nationally. The Faculty of Economics continues to collaborate with regional, national, and international institutions and agencies to support the independent learning process initiated by the government. All study programs within the Faculty of Economics have been nationally accredited, and two study programs, namely Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Management, have been internationally certified by AQAS.
The improvement in IKU achievements of the Faculty of Economics, of course, cannot be separated from the cooperation and support of all parties. Prof. Dr Gede Adi Yuniarta, S.E., Ak., M.Si as Dean of the Faculty of Economics expressed his gratitude for all the efforts and hard work of all the Leaders, Lecturers, and Staff within the Faculty of Economics so that the KPI achievement of the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University throughout 2022 increased to rank 4. He also emphasized that the IKU achievements of the Faculty of Economics will continue to increase in the coming year. (team)
