The Introduction to Campus Life activity for New Students (PKKMB) at the Department level was held again in the mid-afternoon, whereas for the Economics and Accounting Department, the activities still took place at the Rindam IX/Udayana Singaraja Prospective School (SECATA). In the mid-afternoon activity, the activity began with the provision of material by each Study Program Coordinator (Prodi). The Department of Economics and Accounting consists of 3 study programs, namely: Economic Education, Bachelor of Accounting, and D4 of Public Sector Accounting. In the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program, the material was delivered directly by Mrs. Arie Wahyuni, S.E., M.Si as the Study Program Coordinator. In his presentation, he said that the Department of Economics and Accounting is a department that is quite “fat” in terms of student quantity. He also explained the conditions of the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program, including the number of students accepted from year to year as well as the courses and credit system for each study program. At the end of giving the material, he did not forget to emphasize the rules and regulations that must be fulfilled by all undergraduate students in the Accounting Study Program.
At the introduction session for the Economic Education Study Program, Mr. M. Rudy Irwansyah S.Pd., M.Pd the coordinator of the Economic Education Study Program was present to deliver material regarding the Introduction to the Study Program. In the introductory study program material, he conveyed the history of the Economic Education Study Program, an introduction to the curriculum, and continued with an introduction to lecturers in the economic education study program environment. At the end of his presentation of the material, he did not forget to emphasize the rules and regulations while students were attending lectures in the Economic Education Study Program. In the D4 Public Sector Accounting study program, the introduction to the study program was delivered by Mrs. Dr. I Gusti Ayu Purnamawati, S.E, M.Sc., Ak., CA. The event began with an introduction between the Study Program Coordinator and new students, then continued with the core material regarding the introduction of the D4 Public Sector Accounting Study Program, Delivery of Lecture Rules, and Introduction to the Study Program curriculum.
Delivery of material by each Study Program Coordinator took place from 13.00 to 14.30 WITA. After the study program delivery event, all new students listened to the presentation of material from HMJ Economics and Accounting Functionaries and continued with a cheerful event by all new students of the Economics and Accounting Department. At the end of the Department’s PKKMB activities, Mr. Hendra Martadinata, S.E., M.Si as Student Advisor representing the Head of the Economics and Accounting Department closed the series of PKKMB activities in the Economics and Accounting Department. Overall, the PKKMB event for the Department of Economics and Accounting in the afternoon went smoothly and according to the plan prepared by the committee. (team)
