The Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) again held a graduation event for graduates who will graduate in the August 2021 period. This virtual graduation event was held on Tuesday 24 August 2021 and was attended by 452 graduates from 5 study programs (Prodi ) namely: Bachelor of Economics Education Study Program, Bachelor of Accounting Study Program, Bachelor of Management Study Program, D3 Accounting Study Program and D3 Hotel Management Study Program. Present at the release were elements of the leadership of deans, departments, and study programs within the Undiksha Faculty of Economics.
The release event was officially opened by Mr. Dr. Gede Adi Yuniarta, S.E., Ak., M.Si as Dean of the Undiksa Faculty of Economics. In his speech, the Dean congratulated the graduates who had completed their education at both undergraduate and diploma levels. He advised the graduates to always have a high fighting spirit, not complain easily, and always implement their competencies to be able to compete in the job market or when opening a business amidst uncertain economic conditions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On this occasion, Mr. Dean Also don’t forget to thank the Heads of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, and administrative staff within the Faculty of Economics for the maximum service provided to students so they can take thesis exams and register for graduation amidst the conditions of implementing restrictions on community activities (PPKM).
The event continued with the reading of the graduation decree by Mrs. Dr. Dra. Ni Made Suci, M.Si as Deputy Dean I for Academic Affairs, Undiksha Faculty of Economics. In this decision, graduate Wayan Firstia Arika Savitri from the Bachelor of Economics Education Study Program was declared the top graduate of the Faculty of Economics for the August 2021 graduation period with a cumulative achievement index (GPA) of 3.96. At the end of the event, the top graduates were allowed to give their impressions and messages while attending lectures at the Undiksha Faculty of Economics. Overall, the series of activities to send off graduates from the Faculty of Economics took place smoothly and according to the health protocols recommended by the government. (team)
