The severe shock to the Indonesian economy, especially Bali, as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic has had an impact on the people of Bali, most of whose income depends on the tourism industry. Almost all tourism component sectors in Bali experienced destruction, causing massive layoffs (PHK). People in Bali must also start thinking about looking for alternative business opportunities to survive and recover from adversity due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic so that they do not always depend on the tourism sector.
A good entrepreneur always thinks positively and tries to take advantage of the opportunities that exist, no matter how small, amid the disasters they face. This attitude of an entrepreneur is what all components of society in Bali must have to survive and rise from this downturn.
To discuss this, the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, Undiksha, held Management Talks #2 with the theme “Want a better life? Leave your comfort zone now!”. This webinar was presented by speaker Kadek Surya Prasetya Wiguna, S.E (CEO of Cau Chocolates and Chair of HIPMI Tabanan) guided by Dr. I Gede Putra Nugraha, S.S, M.Par.
