HSBC EDUCENTER ONLINE LEARNING AND NATIONAL COMPETENCY CERTIFICATION 2020

45 representatives from the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University who took part in a series of competency certification test activities organized by HSBC, fully supported by the Putra Sampoerna Foundation and Sampoerna University on 7-8 December 2020 at the Swiss Belhotel Rainforest, Kuta-Bali. This big event organized by HSBC, Putra Sampoerna Foundation, and Sampoerna University consists of three series of events, namely an online guest lecture webinar, online workshop, and competency certification test from the National Professional Certification Agency (LSP Menbiska Jakarta and LSP Retail Indonesia Jakarta). This activity aims to improve skills and capacity building in employment (employability), as well as increase financial literacy skills (financial capability and literacy) among the academic community. The 45 representatives consisted of 6 lecturers taking the competency certification test for entrepreneurship assistants, 9 students taking the competency certification test for entrepreneurship actors, 15 students taking the competency certification test for marketing actors, and 15 students taking the digital marketing competency certification test.

The pass percentage for participants representing the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University reached 100% percent.This extraordinary achievement was accompanied by the proud achievements of the students who were able to win three awards in the category “The Winner of Feasibility Studies SROI” won by the groups Flowie Flannie, Bamboo Tumbler and E-POP, three awards in the category“The Winner of Business Model Canvas (BMC)” which was won by the Endek Cloth, Balinese Calligraphy (Balinese Kapak) and Salted Egg Chips groups. Apart from that, students from the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University were also able to win awards in categories“The Winner of Personal Finance” on behalf of Luh Melly Astari, Sinta Kumala Sumertaputri, Ni Luh Gede Yastini, and Putu Dany Indrawan Sidhi. Extraordinary appreciation was given to the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University, conveyed by Mr. Ari Warokka, PhD as HSBC Educenter Program Leader, and Mr. Wahyoe Soedarmono as HSBC – PSF Educenter Program Manager for the success of the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University in winning various award categories and being successful pass 100% in the competency certification test.

All of these activities use large funds and are fully financed by HSBC. Collaboration between the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University, and HSBC has been established since 2016 and has always made a positive contribution to academic development. On this happy occasion, the event organizing team said that this collaboration would continue because the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University had been able to prove the best quality and existence in the academic field.
