Undiksha Faculty of Economics (FE) held a Working Meeting for the 2021 Fiscal Year, last Thursday (30/1/2020). I Putu Gede Parma, S.St.Par., M.Par as chairman of the committee said that through this working meeting, it is hoped that he can utilize educational resources effectively and efficiently to obtain direction for faculty development. More than 90 academics from the Faculty of Economics also attended the activity with the theme “Faculty of Economics Harmony for Excellent Undiksha”, including staff and student representatives from each department.
The activity which was held at the Banyualit Hotel was opened by the Dean of FE, Prof. Dr. Naswan Suharono, M.Pd. He emphasized three things that were emphasized in the implementation of this working meeting, including increasing the quality and quantity of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, procurement and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, as well as student activities. “Our focus is to do more activities outside the institution, especially internationally because that will increase the accreditation and clustering of our faculties,” he added.
Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd was also present as a resource person at the working meeting. He explained that in Undiksha’s current condition, several things must be improved, such as lecture buildings, laboratory facilities, online-based service facilities, and performance, the ratio of lecturers, laboratory assistants, and information processors. He also demanded that faculties design programs that lead to quality improvement, through a policy of faculty autonomy in budget management.
