Singaraja- 6 February 2024. To encourage the achievement of the financial inclusion target of 90% by 2024, the Government continues to intensively carry out education and outreach to increase financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia. In connection with this, STEKOM University Semarang is collaborating with several universities in Indonesia, one of which is the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University, in holding a National Webinar, with the theme “Dissemination of Financial Inclusion for Academics, Micro-Entrepreneurs and the Community”, which was held online.
The webinar activity was opened by Mr. Lukman Santoso, S.Kom., M.Kom as Deputy Chancellor 1 of Stekom University Semarang. When giving his speech, Deputy Chancellor 1 of Stekom University Semarang emphasized that the presence of academics, business people, and the community is a momentum to understand and apply the concept of Financial Inclusion as an effort to facilitate accessibility in the world of finance.
The resource persons came from academics at various universities in Indonesia, including Dwi Astuti, SE., MM. (Lecturer at Stekom University Semarang), Dr. R. Heru Kristanto HC, SE., M.Si (Chair of the Management Department of FEB UPNV Yogyakarta), Soraya Lestari, S.E., M.Si. (Lecturer at Ubudiyah University, Indonesia Aceh), Dr. Restiatum, M.Si. (Lecturer at Tanjung Pura University, Pontianak), Sunitha Devi, S.E., M.Si., Ak. (Coordinator of Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Ganesha Education University), Ernawati S.E., MM. (Lecturer at Batam International University), Aditya Pratama, ST. MM., Phd. (Lecturer at Mercu Buana University, Jakarta).
This webinar is a form of collaboration between FE Undiksha and various universities throughout Indonesia. Through her presentation, Sunitha Devi, S.E., M.Si., Ak. as Coordinator of the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Ganesha Education University, said that financial management and digitalization are expected to facilitate access and control, provide efficiency in business operations and make business actors more competitive.
