In alignment with the Rector of Undiksha’s vision to establish Undiksha as an IRUEL Campus (International Reputable University in Education and Leadership), the Faculty of Economics at Undiksha actively engages in various international activities. From September 6 to 15, 2024, they carried out a series of Tri Dharma Higher Education initiatives in Australia, showcasing its commitment to academic excellence and global collaboration; 1. Visit to the Republik Indonesia General Consulate in Sydney, permission was sought for conducting academic activities in Australia. Discussions were held regarding potential collaborations with various stakeholders in Australia, 2. Community Service Activity, focused on enhancing Indonesian Cultural understanding. Initiated collaboration with Rainbow School Leader in Sydney, 3. Research Collaboration, joint research on Entrepreneurship with Macquarie University, led by Dr. Salut Muhidin. The research explored entrepreneurial competencies in Indonesia and Australia, and 4. Benchmarking Visits, conducted at prominent universities including Sydney University, Victoria University, Melbourne University and Australian National University in Canberra.
The Consulate Stakeholders at the Republic of Indonesia General Consulate in Sydney warmly welcomed the delegation from the Faculty of Economics Undiksha. They expressed enthusiasm in supporting future academics between Indonesian and Australian stakeholders. The Consulate highlighted the potential for initiatives that could contribute to achieving Undiksha’s Key Performance Indicator (IKU). Notably, the research collaboration with Macquarie University has already resulted in tangible outcomes, including a joint study of entrepreneurial competencies and participation in the 9th TEAMS Conference 2024. These accomplishments underline Undiksha’s dedication to fostering meaningful international partnerships and advancing its global academic standing.
