Singaraja – The Department of Economic and Accounting, Faculty of Economics, at Ganesha University of Education successfully hosted the SEASON 2024 (Symphony Of Economic and Accounting Celebration) event. This event, revitalized after a hiatus of several years, was organized by the Economics and Accounting Student Association (HMJ) and featured a series of engaging activities. The event began on October 25, 2024, in the C1 Room at the Faculty of Economics.
The opening ceremony was officially opened by Dr. I Putu Gede Diatmika, S.E., Ak., M.Si., Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Economics. The first day also featured the EACOM (Economic and Accounting Competition) semifinals and finals, which were designed for High School Students from across Bali. On October 26, 24, the event continued with the EA Fun Time, held at the Football Field on the Central Campus of Undiksha. This activity brought together all students of the Department of Economics and Accounting. On October 30, 2024, a Modern Dance Competition was held at the GOR Bhuana Patra Field in Singaraja, involving High School Students from various parts of Bali.
The SEASON 2024 event concluded with an Intimacy Night on November 8, 2024, at the Gde Manik Art Building. The closing ceremony was officially led by Dr. Kadek Rai Suwena, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of the Department of Economics and Accounting. The activity was also attended by the Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Economics, the Secretary of the Department of Economics and Accounting, Coordinators of the S1 Accounting, S1 Economics Education, and D4 Public Sector Accounting Study Programs, as well as faculty members and staff from the department. The revival of SEASON this year aimed to introduce the Department of Economics and Accounting to high school students across Bali, while fostering a stronger sense of community among Lecturers, Staff, and Students within the department.
