Faculty of Economics, Ganesha University of Education, September 17, 2024 – The Faculty of Economics at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) and the Faculty of Economics and Business at Muhammadiyah Cirebon University have formally signed a collaboration agreement as part of the Kampus Merdeka Study Exchange Competition Program. The signing was conducted by Prof. Dr. Gede Adi Yuniarta, S.E., Ak., M.Si., Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Undiksha, and Dr. Asep Gunawan, M.Si., Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah Cirebon University. The event was also attended by the Vice Deans, Department Heads within the Faculty of Economics Undiksha and the Faculty’s Collaboration Team.
This Student Exchange Program is a strategic initiative aimed at broadening students’ knowledge, enhancing their academic and cultural experiences, and strengthening inter-institutional relations. Under this collaboration, seven students from Muhammadiyah Cirebon University will participate in academic activities at the Faculty of Economics Undiksha from September to December 2024.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Gede Adi Yuniarta emphasized that this program aligns with Undiksha’s efforts to enhance global competitiveness among graduates and improve education quality through cross-cultural learning. He expressed hope that the program would foster international connections, enrich students’ knowledge, and broaden their experiences.
Dr. Asep Gunawan highlighted the collaboration as a commitment to nurturing a competitive and globally aware younger generation. Underlined the potential significant impact of this program on both institutions, particularly in advancing education quality and academic collaboration. This partnership reflects both universities’ dedication to fostering academic excellence and providing meaningful opportunities for students to thrive in a globalized educational landscape.
