The Faculty of Economics, Ganesha University of Education, will again hold DASA (Development of Academic, Sport, and Art) in 2021, also known as DASA 9.0. This time DASA comes with a new face, where 3 student organizations within the Faculty of Economics, namely BEM or Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (Students’ Executive Board) of the Faculty of Economics, HMJ or Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan (Departmental Students’ Association) of Economics and Accounting, and HMJ of Management collaborate in the implementation of DASA 2021.
The Opening Ceremony of DASA 9.0 in 2021 was held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 and was opened by Mr. Gede Putu Agus Jana Susila, SE, MBA. as Vice Dean 3 of the Faculty of Economics. In his remarks, he said that the Dean gave extraordinary appreciation for the 2021 DASA event. This is because the DASA event can still be carried out in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic and it is hoped that this DASA event can provide a vehicle for the academic community and the general public to improve ability in academics, sports and arts. The Dean and Vice Dean did not forget to thank the academic community for enlivening the 2021 DASA activities.
The competitions held by a series of DASA 9.0 events include 3 fields of competition, namely Academic, Sports, and Art which are open to all students throughout the Province of Bali. The competitions held are: PKM Contest, Indonesian Debate Contest, Essay Contest, Chess Contest, Freestyle Basketball Contest, E-Sport Contest, Indo Pop Contest, Dance Contest and Poster Contest.
