To welcome the Even Semester 2023/2024, the Department of Economics and Accounting, Ganesha Education University held a Coordination Meeting which was held online via the platform Zoom Meeting on Friday, January 26, 2024, 11.00-12.00 WITA. Head of the Department, Dr. Kadek Rai Suwena, S.Pd., M.Pd., chaired this meeting where the coordination meeting was attended by the Study Program Coordinator in the Department of Economics and Accounting, all lecturers in the Department of Economics and Accounting, and staff in the Department. Economics and Accounting.
Some of the directions given by Dr. Kadek Rai Suwena as Chair of the Economics and Accounting Department during the coordination meeting were as follows:
- Submission of Teaching Load Distribution: Each lecturer is expected to discuss and prepare the distribution of their respective teaching loads in the Department of Economics and Accounting.
- Formation of Study Program IKA: The process of forming a study program Alumni Family Association (IKA) is one of the main focuses to strengthen the network between alumni and departments.
- Increasing Student Achievement: Lecturers are encouraged to express their willingness to guide students in scientific work activities, as a step to improve academic achievement.
- Preparation for Study Program Accreditation: Focusing on preparation for accreditation of the Bachelor of Economics Education and D4 of Public Sector Accounting study programs is a priority. All lecturers are expected to participate and contribute to this preparation.
- Submission of Data on the Conditions of Student Study Development: Data related to the condition of student study development is crucial information that needs to be conveyed and discussed together.
In the context of accreditation preparation, all lecturers are expected to work together to ensure that all required components and aspects have been prepared optimally. This collaboration is expected to improve the quality and competitiveness of study programs. The Head of the Department of Economics and Accounting appreciates the involvement of all elements within the department and believes that through solid cooperation, preparations for this semester can run smoothly and successfully.
