The Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) again held a Working Meeting to discuss the 2024 budget. This annual routine activity was held for two days from 6 to 7 February 2023 at the Harrys Mall Bali Galeria Hotel. The Faculty of Economics Working Meeting (Raker) was attended directly by the Chancellor, Deputy Chancellor II, Faculty Deanship Leadership, Lecturers, Staff, and student representatives. The working meeting with the theme of Synergy to create superior and highly competitive human resources began with a report from Deputy Dean II of the Faculty of Economics regarding the budget absorption of the Faculty of Economics. In his report, Deputy Dean II revealed that the Faculty of Economics’ budget absorption in the last four years has always been above 99%, this condition illustrates that work and financial planning and the realization of its use are going very well. Deputy Dean II also said that in budget planning he always pays attention to developing the competence and insight of lecturers and staff, so that human resource development within the Faculty of Economics always increases every year.
After reading the report submitted by Mr. WD II, the working meeting activities continued with an opening by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics. He explained that the holding of the Faculty Meeting was a continuation of the University level Rakorbang which was held at the end of 2022. He expressed his thanks to the Chancellor for the harmony that exists within the Ganesha Education University environment, so that the Faculty of Economics can develop its lecture infrastructure and human resources. With leadership support and harmony, the economics faculty can excel in the four Main Performance Indicators (IKU) in 2022. The 2024 Fiscal Year Working Meeting activity, presenting the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor II as main speakers in the field of Undiksha’s policy direction in 2024 as well as program preparation and determining the allocation before discussions will be held between commissions to agree on the 2024 Faculty of Economics budget.
The Chancellor emphasized that he really supports the work program of the Faculty of Economics because it will directly realize the achievement of the University’s target of becoming an internationally reputable University in Education and Leadership (IRUEL). On the next occasion, Deputy Chancellor II emphasized the importance of management that must be carried out by all faculties within Undiksha, including good governance, good budgeting, and good achievement. This management is absolutely necessary to achieve better and improved Faculty performance. After the presentation of material from the University Leadership, the working meeting activities continued on the second day which discussed the submission of responses from Commission 1 (academic sector), commission 2 (financial sector), and Commission 3 (student affairs). In the opinion-sharing session, the entire commission approved the work plan and budget for 2024 so the Faculty of Economics Meeting ended with a very harmonious agreement. (team)
