The Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha released prospective graduates who would graduate in the March 2022 period. The ceremony was held online on Thursday, March 24, 2022 and was opened directly by Mrs. Dr. Dra. Ni Made Suci, M.Si as a Vice Dean I accompanied by Mr. Gede Pawana, S.T., M.M. as an Associate Expert Student Analyst, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha.
In her remarks, the Vice Dean I who also represented the Dean congratulated all prospective graduates for the March 2022 period who had successfully completed their undergraduate education so that they would later be entitled to hold a Bachelor of Economics degree. She also reminded that prospective graduates must always be able to apply all the knowledge gained during their education in college while active in the world of work. This is very important, because the world of work today has many very complex challenges. Apart from the increasingly stringent technological developments, the challenges that arise are also due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic condition causes fewer job opportunities and opening a business. Therefore, it takes a creativity and a strong mentality from prospective graduates in dealing with it. At the end of her speech, the Vice Dean I did not forget to give a message that the prospective graduates must maintain the good name of the alma mater, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha especially in the public stage.
The event continued by the reading of the prospective graduates’ names and the determination of the top graduates from the Faculty of Economics. The number of prospective graduates released in the March 2022 period were 129 people, with details of 55 people graduated from the Management (Bachelor Programme), 27 graduates from Economic Education (Bachelor Programme), 46 graduates from Accounting (Bachelor Programme), and 1 graduate from Accounting (Association Programme). The candidate for graduation on behalf of Sisilia Maharani from the Management program was chosen as the top graduate in the March 2022 graduation ceremony. Overall, the release event went smoothly and in accordance with the health protocols set by the government. (team)
