Singaraja, 12 February 2024 – The Economics and Accounting Department Student Association (HMJ) and the Management Department Student Association (HMJ) have held Student General Election and Student Deliberation activities. This activity was carried out to elect the Chair and Deputy Chair of HMJ for the 2024/2025 period. The activities packaged in the 2024 General Election (PEMIRA) and Student Conference (MUSMA) events were held in Seminar Room C1, Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University, but at different times.
PEMIRA and MUSMA Economics and Accounting Department activities were attended directly by Mr. Dr. Kadek Rai Suwena, S.Pd., M.Pd as Chair of the Economics and Accounting Department and also attended by the Secretary of the Economics and Accounting Department, Dr. Lucy Sri Musmini, SE., M.Si., Ak. Apart from that, this activity was also attended by the Student Advisor for the Department of Economics and Accounting, the entire PEMIRA activities committee as well as the two candidates for chairman and deputy chairman of HMJ Economics and Accounting.
Meanwhile, at a separate time, the PEMIRA and Member Deliberation (MUSANG) activities of the Management Department were attended directly by Mr. Gede Putu Agus Jana Susila, S.E., MBA as Chair of the Management Department, and attended by the Study Program Coordinator within the Management Department, the Management Department Student Advisor and the entire activity committee PEMIRA as well as the two candidates for chairman and deputy chairman of HMJ Management.
Based on the results of the final vote recapitulation, the candidate for chairman of HMJ Economics and Accounting, Kadek Duwi Aditiya, succeeded in getting the most votes. Meanwhile, for the election within HMJ Management, the candidate for chairman of HMJ Management, Ketut Ngurah Arya Yudistira, succeeded in getting the most votes. At the end of the determination session, the two candidates for chairman of HMJ within the Faculty of Economics were crowned as winners in the student PEMIRA and were entitled to be appointed as chairman of HMJ for the 2024/2025 period. After being appointed as interim chairman of HMJ, the two selected candidates for chairman and deputy chairman were confirmed definitively as chairman of HMJ through MUSMA in HMJ Economics and Accounting and MUSANG for HMJ Management in 2024/2025.
This activity is expected to create a democratic and inclusive academic environment. As well as being able to make a positive contribution to academic and non-academic progress and prosperity for students in each HMJ in the Faculty of Economics.
