Continuation of the Introduction to Campus Life Activities for New Students (PKKMB) of the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University in the afternoon starting with an introduction to each Study Program (Prodi) in the Department of Management. The study program introduction activity was divided into two locations, namely the Laksmi Graha Singaraja Women’s Building for the introduction of the Bachelor of Management Study Program, while the introduction of the D4 Hospitality Management Study Program was located in Seminar Room C1, Faculty of Economics Campus. In the introduction of the Bachelor of Management Study Program, Mr. Komang Krisna Heryanda, S.E., M.M. immediately presented as a resource person as well as Coordinator of the Undergraduate Management Study Program. He explained the material on the Introduction to the Independent Learning Curriculum for the Undergraduate Management Study Program as well as providing motivation to new students to have high enthusiasm for studying at the UNDIKSHA Undergraduate Management Study Program. Next, he explained the courses that must be taken each semester and the systematics of college leave dropout. At the end of the presentation of the material, he gave new students the opportunity to ask questions regarding the material that had been presented in the question-and-answer discussion session and congratulated them on joining the Management Department, Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University. After the presentation session on introductory material for the Bachelor of Management Study Program ended, the event continued with breaking guided by the committee and giving impressions and messages by new students participating in the PKKMB Management Department.
A similar thing also happened during the introduction of the D4 Hospitality Management Study Program, where Mrs. Trianasari, M.M, Ph.D. as Coordinator of the D4 Hospitality Study Program and resource person delivered several materials regarding the programs carried out in the D4 Hospitality study. The core material presented by him was regarding the curriculum, student activities such as the activities of an English learning club, webinars, wrespati satsang, redite seva, and end-of-year family. The next material presentation explains the courses available in the D4 Hotel Management Study Program and the procedures for preparing a Study Plan Card. He also emphasized the importance of building a network of friends to broaden the horizons of new students. Another important thing that was conveyed was regarding the achievements of hospitality students who received awards for best training and the importance of English and other foreign languages ??in the world of hospitality work. The activity ended with motivational messages from Mr. Dr. A.A Ngurah Martin Mahardika, S.Pd., M.Pd as one of the senior lecturers at the D4 Hotel Management Study Program.
Before closing the activity, each Study Program Coordinator held a joint viewing event regarding Introduction to HMJ Management for the 2022/2033 term of service. In this PKKMB activity for the Management Department, joint cleaning activities were also held in the activity area, both in the Laksmi Graha Singaraja Women’s Building and in seminar room C1, UNDIKSHA Faculty of Economics Campus. All activities ended safely and smoothly at 14.30 WITA which closed with a final presence by all PKKMB Management Department participants. (Team)
