In series with the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) event at the UNDIKSHA Faculty of Economics, on Saturday 20 August 2022, PKKMB activities at the Department level were held within the Faculty of Economics. PKKMB Department activities are divided into two, namely PKKMB for the Department of Economics and Accounting and PKKMB for the Department of Management. Specifically for the Economics and Accounting Department, the implementation of the PKKMB takes place at the Kubujati Singaraja Enlisted Candidate School (SECATA) with activity times divided into half morning and half afternoon. The mid-morning activities started at 08.00 WITA with the singing of the songs Indonesia Raya and Mars Undiksha, followed by reading prayers and giving a speech.
The first speech at the opening ceremony began with the Chair of the Economics and Accounting Department Student Association (HMJ) who emphasized that the real aim of PKKMB activities is to equip and understand the learning process in the campus environment, apart from that PKKMB is a vehicle for new students to adapt to the campus environment. The next speech was delivered by Mrs. Dr. Luh Indrayani, S.Pd, M.Pd. as Chair of the Department of Economics and Accounting, Faculty of Economics, UNDIKSHA. He advised new students majoring in Economics and Accounting to always be active in various activities that will be organized by the Department and to be able to make real contributions in every activity, both academic and non-academic activities.
After the opening ceremony ended, the event continued with the introduction of lecturers and staff within the Department of Economics and Accounting as well as the delivery of core material by Mrs. Dr. Luh Indrayani, S.Pd, M.Pd. regarding values, ethics, and campus introduction. At the end of providing the core material, the event continued with an introduction to HMJ Economics and Accounting Management as well as superior work programs guided directly by the chairman of HMJ. The event started with an introduction to the core management and continued with fields 1 to 5. After that, the event continued with the presentation of the participation credit system (SKP) by the coordinator of field 1 HMJ Economics and Accounting. Then the event continued with the final session in the morning with activities ice breaking, where at this event all PKKMB participants participated very enthusiastically. After the last session is finished, new students are given rest time to prepare for the next activity in the afternoon. Overall, the PKKMB activities of the Economics and Accounting Department ran smoothly and orderly in accordance with the plan that had been mutually agreed upon by the committee. (team)
