As part of the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University (UNDIKSHA), on Saturday 20 August 2022 all lecturer staff and the Management Department Student Association (HMJ) provided the opportunity for new students to get to know the academic and non-academic situations and conditions. which are summarized in the Department’s PKKMB activities. Activities carried out offline in the Laksmi Graha Singaraja Women’s Building still carries a theme that is in line with the Faculty’s PKKMB, namely “Creating UNDIKSHA Economics Faculty Students who have the spirit ofCLASSIC (Creative, Leadership, Supportive, Interactive and Careness”. The 2022 PKKMB Management Department activities will last for one day, starting with the opening ceremony at 08.00 WITA with the singing of the songs Indonesia Raya and Mars UNDIKSHA, reading prayers, and giving a speech.
The first speech began with the Chair of HMJ Management for the 2022/2023 Service Period who expressed his hope that the new Management Department students could proceed well in the Management Department environment. The next speech was delivered by Mr. Dr. I Nengah Suarmanayasa, S.E., M.Sc. as Chair of the Management Department, Faculty of Economics, UNDIKSHA. In his speech, he advised new students not to just take part in PKKMB events, but to make provisions and implement them in campus life. He also added that the valuable opportunities obtained during college can be useful for preparing oneself to answer future challenges. At the end of his speech, he reiterated the importance attitude that students must have, don’t let students underestimate their attitude. The hope is that all Management Department students can color their lives in society. He did not forget to congratulate the new students joining the Management Department.
After the opening session ended, the event continued with an introduction to the lecturer staff within the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, UNDIKSHA. The event was hosted directly by Mr. Dr. A A. Ngurah Yudha Martin Mahardika, S.Pd., M.Pd. as Secretary of the Management Department accompanied by lecturers in the Management Department. At the end of the introduction of the Lecturers and Management Department, the event continued with the provision of core material regarding Introduction to Values, Ethics, and Introduction to Campus by Mr. Dr. I Nengah Suarmanayasa, S.E., M.Sc. He also opened opportunities for new students to ask questions in discussion sessions and gave prizes in the form of books to new students who asked interesting questions.
The activities after the discussion session continued with an introduction to the HMJ Management functionaries for the 2022/2023 Service Period starting from the Core Management, Field 1, Field 2, Field 3, Field 4 to Field 5. At the end of the introduction event, activities were carried out in a sharing session together with the Chair and Deputy Chair of HMJ Management for the 2022/2023 Service Period who discussed student organizations in the Management Department, namely HMJ Management. Activity which lasted almost 60 minutes, ended with giving resume assignments to the new students, after which they were given time to rest to prepare for the study program introduction activities in the afternoon halftime. In general, introduction activities in the Management Department, the morning part went smoothly and according to the plan set by the Committee. (Team)
