On Wednesday 11 November 2020, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Team was represented by the Deputy General Chair for Organization and Relations between Legislative Executive Institutions (I Gede Surya Permadi), Deputy General Chair for Agribusiness, Industry & Trade (I Nyoman Dedi Pahardi Mulia, SH. MM.) and Assistant (I Gede Dedy Pariana), visited the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University to convey the KADIN Goes to Campus program in the form of collaboration that will be built by KADIN with several of the best universities. This visit was motivated by the existence of various creative video shows circulating in the community about business ventures run by students and alumni of the Undiksha Faculty of Economics, thus making KADIN look at the Undiksha Faculty of Economics to be invited to work together in developing students.entrepreneur young. KADIN also revealed that it would collaborate with PT. Pegadaian (Persero) is one of the financial services company partners that will later be able to help young entrepreneurs from the Undiksha Faculty of Economics develop their businesses.
On this occasion, Mr. Dr. Gede Adi Yuniarta, S.E., Ak., M.Sc. as Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University, welcomed the Goes to Campus program which will be carried out by KADIN. He emphasized that the role of practitioners such as KADIN is very important in developing students and alumni who want to become entrepreneurs. This is because opening and running a business venture is not as easy as many people imagine. Everyone must first have an entrepreneurial spirit within themselves, such as a passion for business (not because of compulsion), so that later students and alumni will always be creative, and innovative and enjoy running their business ventures. The period also tests someone worthy of being called an entrepreneur. Undiksha Faculty of Economics students and alumni must be strong against all obstacles and obstacles in running their business ventures. Therefore, motivation and business tips are needed from KADIN as practitioners who have decades of experience in running trade and industrial businesses in Indonesia. Apart from that, the Dean is very confident that the students and alumni of the Undiksha Faculty of Economics who are members ofYoung Entrepreneur Association (YES) FE Undiksha already have strong entrepreneurial theoretical basics and experience participating in business events to become a true entrepreneur.
At the end of the visit, KADIN hopes that the KADIN program will be a successful campus with the Undiksha Faculty of Economics through the Undiksha FE Entrepreneurship Laboratory can immediately be expressed in the form of an MOU as an initial step in the legality of the cooperation agreement.
