The Student Executive Board (LEM) Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Pasundan University conducted a comparative study visit to the Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty of Economics (FE) Ganesha Education University. The activity took place on January 31, 2024, in Seminar Room C1 FE Undiksha. The noble aim of holding this event is to improve the internal performance of student organizations, develop organizational potential and capabilities, and become a valuable forum for sharing views and comparing the management of student organizations between BEM and HMJ of the Undiksha Faculty of Economics and LEM of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Pasundan University.
This activity was also attended by many invitees, namely Deputy Deans I & III of the Faculty of Economics Undiksha, Student Assistants from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Pasundan University, Student Assistants from the Faculty of Economics Undiksha, representatives from LEM FEB Pasundan University, BEM FE Undiksha, and HMJ at the Faculty of Economics Undiksha. To open the event, Deputy Dean III of the Undiksha Faculty of Economics, Dr. I Nengah Suarmanayasa, S.E., M.Si, gave motivating remarks and provided direction regarding the importance of collaboration between student organizations.
This activity includes a series of very meaningful events, including the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), as a form of joint commitment to increase collaboration in the future. Additionally, both student organizations discussed various aspects of organizational management and development, providing participants with in-depth insight into the best practices that can be adopted. In addition, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity with the theme “APBD Fund Allocation for Physical and Social Infrastructure Development” was also held. This in-depth discussion provides space for participants to share ideas, views, and understanding regarding crucial issues in managing development funds.
BEM Faculty of Economics Undiksha and LEM Faculty of Economics and Business, Pasundan University are committed to making this comparative study activity a basis for closer collaboration in the future. With the spirit of mutual learning and exchanging experiences, it is believed that this collaboration between student organizations will have a significant positive impact on the progress and development of student capabilities at both institutions.
