During the Merdeka Learn Campus (MBKM) period, lecturers and students are required to be able to improve their skills to face and prepare themselves in the global market. One of the skills that must be possessed today is the ability of Digital Marketing. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are 2 unique things that have emerged from an economic perspective. First, MSMEs were able to survive and even help move the Indonesian economy, even globally. Second, digital-based marketing is increasingly being used. Philip Kotler said that the existence of digital marketing was increasingly felt during the pandemic. These two things further reinforce the importance of digital marketing skills for prospective job seekers and those who are involved in the business and education world.
The Undiksha Faculty of Economics realizes the importance of the need for digital marketing skills. One way or another, HSBC, the largest and well-known international banking group, intends to cooperate with educational institutions in conducting digital marketing certification. The program is part of CSR in the field of education entitled HSBC Educenter whose activities are reported directly to London (HSBC head office). The collaboration between HSBC and FE Undiksha was then designed. Starting from 2020, the implementation of training, mentoring, and digital marketing certification has been carried out. In 2022, this activity will be held again as a form of HSBC’s trust in FE Undiksha. This year’s activity is an additional quota from the final program in 2021. HSBC provides an additional quota of 40 people, which is then followed by 11 lecturers and 29 students, where all participants are freed from any administrative fees. This quota addition was given based on the reference of LSP Retail Indonesia as a certification agency which considered that among several participating educational institutions, based on previous certification experience, FE Undiksha was considered the most enthusiastic in preparation, optimal in the implementation process, and had good and real work.

In order to prepare for the certification process, a team from the FE Undiksha Entrepreneurship Lab was sent to assist the smooth implementation. The mentoring process is carried out intensively with assistance from lecturers and students who have previously participated in certification. The hope is 100% success in passing, as obtained in the previous year. The implementation of training, mentoring, and competency testing (certification) activities will take place from April 8 to May 31, 2022.
In the future, efforts to improve the skills of lecturers and students will continue to be intensified. Cooperation with various parties continues to be pursued to produce special MoUs and MoA related to training and certification. This is the embodiment of the vision and mission of FE Undiksha, namely to be superior in terms of entrepreneurship. Hopefully this hope can be realized soon.
