The 37th PIMNAS (National Student Scientific Week) will be held on October 14 – 19, 2024, at Airlangga University, Surabaya. Organized by the Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI) and the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas), this event marks the final stage of the Student Creativity Program (PKM). It provides a platform for students from various universities in Indonesia to showcase their creativity and innovation through presentations, poster competitions, and product exhibitions to the wider community.
Among the teams successfully advancing to the 37th PIMNAS is the PKM-PM Team from the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha). Led by Fina Angraini, with members Ni Putu Ayu Kusuma Dewi, Ni Putu Yunika Dewi, Ni Kadek Wisdayani, and Ni Kadek Mie Ariani and under the guidance of their supervisor Putu Riesty Masdiantini, S.E., M.Si., the team will present their project titled “Youthpreneur-Life Challenge: Establishment of Entrepreneurial Spirit Through Challenge-Based Learning as an Effort to Improve Life Quality for LKSA Giri Asih Children.”
This project is part of the PKM Community Service Program (PKM-PM) and aims to improve the quality of life for children at LKSA Giri Asih through entrepreneurship training. Conducted from May 4 to July 6, 2024, the program involved 25 children and staff members from LKSA Giri Asih.
The team applied the Challenge-Based Learning method to teach entrepreneurship, equipping the children with essential knowledge and skills to face future challenges. The program also aims to reduce the unemployment rate among LKSA Giri Asih graduates by fostering self-reliance and entrepreneurial capabilities.
Through their participation in PIMNAS, the PKM-PM Team aims to showcase their creativity and innovation to a broader audience while receiving valuable feedback to further refine their work. The team also hopes their efforts inspire others and contribute to creating a generation of problem-solving and productive youth. This achievement underscores Undiksha’s commitment to fostering impactful projects that address real-world challenges and promote sustainable community development.
