Technological developments in the 4.0 era caused changes in people’s behavior and lifestyle in various sectors of life, this condition of course also penetrated the business world. All business activities that were previously carried out conventionally are slowly being replaced by digital business systems. Various business processes today, starting to apply information technology in terms of creating a product, to marketing the product so that it can be successfully sold in the market. To deal with these developments, the Denpasar Industrial Education and Training Center held a Class IV Social Media Marketing Training in Buleleng Regency in collaboration with the Department of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (DisdagprinkopUKM) Buleleng Regency and the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha University of Education. The activity which lasted for 6 full days starting from Monday, June 28, 2021 to Saturday, July 3, 2021, was officially opened by Mr. Drs. Dewa Made Sudiarta, M.Si as the Head of DisdagprinkopUKM Buleleng Regency accompanied by Dr. Gede Adi Yuniarta, SE, Ak., M.Si as the Dean of the Undiksha Faculty of Economics and Ms. Zya Labiba, S.Si., MT as the Head of Denpasar Industrial Training Center.
The opening ceremony of the Fourth Class of Social Media Marketing Training began with a report from Ms. Zya Labiba, S.Si., MT as the Head of Denpasar Industrial Training Center. He revealed that this training has the aim of creating micro, small and medium entrepreneurs engaged in industry to be superior in the field of social media marketing. On that occasion, he also explained that the training provided uses a 50-hour curriculum by implementing the 3 in 1 method, namely training, certification and placement. After giving a report on the training activities, the event continued with remarks from Mr. Dr. Gede Adi Yuniarta, SE, Ak., M.Si as the Dean of the Undiksha Faculty of Economics. In his speech he stated that the role of digital technology is very important in marketing a product at this time and as much as possible controlled by business people, he also expressed his gratitude for the trust given by the DisdagperinkopUKM Buleleng Regency and the Denpasar Industrial Training Center to the Undiksha Faculty of Economics as a place to hold This Class IV Social Media Marketing Training. The opening ceremony was closed with remarks from Mr. Drs. Dewa Made Sudiarta, M.Si as the Head of DisdagprinkopUKM Buleleng Regency, he conveyed that MSME actors in Buleleng always have a responsive and resilient spirit in creating solutions in marketing their commodities in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This Class IV Social Media Marketing Training activity was attended by UMKM wrestlers in Buleleng Regency as well as students who are members of the Young Entrepreneur Association (YES) Faculty of Economics, Ganesha University of Education. Later these participants would take a competency exam on Saturday, July 3, 2021 to get a training certificate from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia and a certificate of competence in the field of social media marketing from the BNSP or Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (National Professional Certification Agency) of the Republic of Indonesia. Overall, the opening of the Class IV Social Media Marketing Training which was held in Room C1 of the Faculty of Economics went smoothly and always implemented health protocols at every stage. (team)
