The Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University carried out socialization activities regarding lecturer workload policies (BKD) and human resource development on Monday, April 5, 2021. The activity was carried out virtually, presenting the resource person, Prof. Dr. Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd as Deputy Chancellor II who is in charge of finance, household, and human resources at the Ganesha University of Education. The activity was also attended directly by Mr. Dr. Adi Yuniarta, S.E., M.Si., Ak as Dean of the Faculty of Economics along with all the Deans and Lecturers in the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha Education University.
In his socialization, Deputy Chancellor II explained the changes to the lecturer workload (BKD) policy that has been used so far. The current BKD policy, which has been in use since 2010, will be replaced with the BKD policy in 2021. This is per the instructions of the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the obligations that must be carried out by lecturers at every level of their functional position. In explaining the direction of human resource development, Deputy Chancellor II emphasized the importance of qualifications, competencies, and certification of lecturers. He also said that the appointment of professors and associate professors must be based on the lecturers’ study programs.
Overall, the socialization activities ran smoothly and ended with a message from Deputy Chancellor II, so that the entire academic community within the Faculty of Economics can maintain harmony and synergy so that in the future the Faculty of Economics remains the favorite faculty within the Ganesha University of Education.
