Friday (24/10), the Economic Education Study Program held a seminar entitled “Tax Inclusion for Lecturers and Students”. This activity was held based on the Undiksha MOU with the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes regarding tax inclusion in higher education. In this seminar, Dian Anggreni, as Head of the Extension Section of the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes, was invited as a resource person.
The activity, which was held in Seminar Room C1, Faculty of Economics, was opened by the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Economics, Gede Putu Agus Jana Susila, S.E, MBA., representing the dean who was unable to attend. A total of 60 students from the Faculty of Economics and several Undiksha Personality Development (MPK) lecturers were participants in this seminar.
Moderated by M. Rudi Irwansyah, S.Pd., M.Pd., lecturer at the Economic Education Study Program, this seminar discussed the integration of tax awareness material in education. In presenting the material, Dian Anggreni conveyed the importance of inserting tax awareness material into MPK courses such as Pancasila, Citizenship, Indonesian, and Religion. Where later students will learn the importance of taxes in development, the value of taxes in the context of Indonesian history, tax management, and the obligation of citizens to pay taxes as a form of defending the country. So it is hoped that a culture of tax awareness can be built from an early age through higher education. (win)
