Malang – November 21, 2024. The Field Trip Activities (KKL) organized by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), aimed to enhance student achievements and participation, particularly within the Faculty of Economics. The agenda for its activity included a visit to Brawijaya University (UB), specifically to the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business (BEM FEB UB). This visit was conducted to learn about the organizational structure and system of BEM FEB UB, as well as to gain insight into its flagship programs.
The KKL activity at BEM FEB UB began with a welcoming speech by Ms. Catrine Ana Prastyari, S.S., the Head of Subdivision for Academic, Students Affairs, Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship at FEB UB. This was followed by remarks from the Student Affairs Advisor of the Faculty of Economics Undiksha and a presentation about BEM FEB UB, accompanied by a discussion session. The students participating in the field trip also toured the FEB UB facilities, where they learned about a unique canteen managed by BEM FEB UB as part of its entrepreneurship program. This provided valuable knowledge and fresh perspectives for the KKL participants.
The second destination was CV Bagus Agriseta Mandiri, a home industry producing high-quality souvenirs. During this visit, the students directly observed the processes of making apple chips and dodol (a traditional Indonesian Confection), including their packaging. Additionally, the students were educated on proper apple tree planting techniques to produce high-quality fruit and efficient packaging methods for dodol.
The implementation of this field trip provided new insight and experiences for the students, particularly for members of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics Undiksha. These experiences can serve as valuable input for improving students’ achievements and fostering greater participation, particularly within the Faculty of Economics.
