The Student Association of Management Department held a series of General Elections for the 2022/2023 term of service. The series of events began with the debate of candidates for chair and deputy chair of organization in 2022/2023 period which was held through the Zoom Meeting platform on Saturday, January 8, 2022. The debate was attended and opened by Mr. Dr. I Nengah Suarmanayasa, S.E., M.Sc. as the head of the management department and also attended by student supervisors of the Management Department, lecturers in the Management Department, as well as students’ delegates from semester 1, 3, 5, and 7 in the Management Department. This debate activity involved 2 pairs of candidates for chair and deputy chair of the organization on behalf of Kadek Indah Murnia Cahyani and I Wayan Trisna Priyandana as candidate number 1 and Putu Panji Krisna Pradnyana and Kadek Cipta Dharmayani as candidate number 2 who had vision, mission, and featured programs that have been carefully prepared and have been presented in this debate.
The election debate in 2022 carries the theme “Peran HMJ Manajemen dalam Membangun Semangat Perubahan“. The 2022 election debate involved 3 panelists, namely Dr. I Gede Putra Nugraha, S.S., M.Par. as student advisor in the Department of Management, Mrs. Ni Made Dwi Ariani Mayasari, S.E., M.M. as a lecturer in the Department of Management, and Kadek Paramita Wijayanti as a demisioner. The election series of events then continued on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 with voting, vote counting, and provisional voting for a series of 2022 election activities. This activity took place in room C2.03 attended by the 2022 election core committee, the two pairs of candidates the chairman and deputy chairman of the 2022 students’ association organization, as well as the supporters of the candidate pair as witnesses. In this election activity, 1215 people were registered in the election, 795 valid votes were received, while 420 invalid votes were registered.
Based on the results of the vote count, the votes obtained for each candidate pair are as follows:
– The first candidates for chair and deputy chairperson of student’s association organization as many as 36% with 284 votes
– The second candidates for chair and deputy chairperson of student’s association organization as many as 64% with 511 votes
Therefore, the selected candidate pair is the second candidate, namely Putu Panji Krisna Pradnyana and Kadek Cipta Dharmayani. There is great hope for the pair of candidates who are elected as chair and deputy chair of the organization for the 2022/2023 period, so that they can always foster and facilitate all forms of student activities in the management department, both in the academic and non-academic fields.
