The Faculty of Economics (FE) once again made Undiksha proud in the national level entrepreneurship competition. This time, FE Undiksha succeeded in placing 2 proposals in the 2021 Wira Desa national competition and placing Undiksha as one of the recipients of funds and the highest number of proposals in Indonesia. Previously, FE also managed to contribute 6 out of 10 proposals for Undiksha at the KBMI (Indonesian Student Entrepreneurial Activities) event with the best writing quality so that it was ranked 1 nationally. The two competitions (KBMI and Wira Desa) are prestigious national events organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) and participated by all universities in Indonesia.
At the Faculty of Economics, the success of passing a national level proposal cannot be separated from the harmonization of the roles of leaders, accompanying lecturers and students. Through the FE Entrepreneurship Laboratory, fostering students to participate in competitions is carried out intensively, by synergizing with the Office of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, Micro and Small Businesses, KADIN, practitioners in the field of entrepreneurship, and village leaders in Buleleng district. In the future, efforts to foster and develop the entrepreneurial spirit will be intensified, so that entrepreneurship that is closely related to economics can be a feature and at the same time be able to make faculties, institutions, and the state proud.
