Singaraja, 22 December 2023. A tutorial assistance activity on the use of communication applications was held for the Sidetapa Village POKDARWIS which took place in Room C1, Undiksha Faculty of Economics, by the D4 Hospitality Management Study Program. This activity was opened by the Chief Executive of the Sidetapa Village PKM.
This activity featured members of the Sidetapa Village POKDARWIS, Lecturers and Students of D4 Hospitality Management Undiksha, as well as lecturers and students from the Hamzanwadi University Hotel Management Study Program. This mentoring activity aims to strengthen and develop Sidetapa Village as a tourist village. For four years, this activity has supported the development of the village. At the end of 2023, a communication assistant application was launched by I Putu Andhika Putra to facilitate Pokdarwi’s communication with foreign tourists who come to Sidetapa Village. This indicates a positive synergy between the world of education and tourism development. Apart from that, this mentoring program also aims to strengthen communication infrastructure through developed applications. The Hospitality Management Lecturer as the activity organizer always helps Sidetapa Village continue to transform into a more attractive destination, by utilizing local potential and increasing the capacity of POKDARWIS.
