The 5th Undiksha Writing Contest (UWEST) started with the National Scientific Writing Competition which was held on Wednesday 9 September 2020. This activity was a place to compete for the talents of students throughout Indonesia in writing scientific papers. 1st place in the 5th Undiksha Writing Contest 2020 went to contestants from the State University of Malang, with the writing topic “Foxtector: Autonomous Obstacles Avoidance Drone as an Early Detector of Fires and Illegal Loggers in Indonesian Forests”. The activity ended with a National Webinar Event which was held on Thursday 10 September 2020. Thank you to all parties who have contributed to the success of the 5th UWEST 2020 event.
